Fraud awareness
We have been alerted to some fraudulent activity in which customers receive text messages from someone purporting to be a fraud specialist from Florence Bank. The imposter then calls the customer asking for their debit card number or login credentials.
If you receive a suspicious text like the one below, DO NOT RESPOND and DELETE THE TEXT.
If you suspect your Florence Bank account has been compromised, please call 413-586-1300 (during business hours).
As a reminder, Florence Bank will NEVER call, text, or email you requesting your bank account information, passwords, or personal information. If you receive such a request, hang up the phone immediately, delete the text, or mark the email as spam. Likewise, NEVER share your bank account information, online banking credentials, or personal information with anyone.
