We have been alerted to a telephone scam targeting Florence Bank customers.
In this particular scam, Scammers are masking our main telephone number 413-586-1300 to reach customers. The callers are claiming to be from the Bank’s fraud department and are telling customers that there are fraudulent charges on their debit card. They then ask the customer to confirm the transaction and request personal and account information..
If you receive such a call, HANG UP THE PHONE IMMEDIATELY. If you suspect your account has been compromised, please call us at 413-586-1300 during business hours. You can also contact us via email, our website, or by sending a secure message in mobile or online banking.
Remember...
- Florence Bank will NEVER call, text, or email you requesting your online banking passwords. If you receive such a request, hang up the phone, delete the text, or mark the email as spam/junk.
- NEVER share your bank account information, online banking credentials, or personal information with anyone.
- NEVER click on a link provided by an unknown sender.
- All Florence Bank debit card holders are automatically enrolled in FraudDetect to help protect debit cards from fraudulent activity.
