Florence Bank names Eric Padelford as Chief Financial Officer

Florence Bank is pleased to announce that Eric Padelford of Dalton, Massachusetts has been named Senior Vice President/Chief Financial Officer. Padelford will succeed Senior Vice President/Treasurer Sarah Darling, who will be retiring in June after 40 years of service to the Bank.

Prior to joining Florence Bank, Padelford was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Pittsfield Cooperative Bank in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, where he oversaw all operational, financial, and technological functions for the organization. 

“Eric has successfully managed multiple bank divisions and has a proven track record of achievement in each of those key areas,” said Matt Garrity, President and Chief Executive Officer. “I look forward to Eric joining our senior leadership team and am excited to see his vision for our Finance and Facilities divisions.”

Padelford holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from the State University of New York (SUNY) Empire State College and a Master of Science degree in Data Science from Eastern University in Pennsylvania.

Garrity also reflected on Darling’s distinguished four-decade career at Florence Bank.
