Assistant Controller - Florence, MA

Responsibilities include management of all finance department functions under the direction of the Controller; preparation of financial reports; participation in financial division projects; participation in asset/liability management, budgeting, and planning; analysis of investment yield trends and anomalies; implementation of processes as needed for regulatory or accounting rule changes; various duties related to taxes, general ledger and accounting sub-systems; management of the international wire processing function.

The following skills, experience or background are necessary for this position: Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance, MBA or CPA preferred; minimum of 4 years work experience in the financial field with a minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, with demonstrated understanding of accounting principle and practices; experience in bank accounting preferred; understanding of investments and accounting from either education or experience; knowledge of international wire transfer processing preferred; ability to work independently and handle a wide variety of tasks at any given time; PC knowledge, including the ability to develop and utilize spreadsheets, utilizing advanced knowledge of Excel; ability to produce PowerPoint presentations and report writing experience; experience with Oracle Financial Systems preferred; demonstrated leadership, analytical and organizational skills; strong communication skills, both oral and written.

Part-Time Teller - Easthampton, MA

Hours – Tuesday - 10:30-2:30; Thursday - 7:30-4:00; Friday 9:00-6:30; Saturday – 8:45-12:15

Responsibilities include but not limited to: Consistently providing superior professional customer service, performing a wide variety of banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and processing night deposit bags. 

Qualifications: Teller applicants should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, have recent cash handling experience, exceptional customer service, math, interpersonal and communication skills, CFT or additional college courses preferred.

Summer Teller - Hampshire County, MA

Florence Bank is currently seeking qualified candidates for Seasonal Full-Time Summer Teller positions (May-August). Teller applicants must be willing to travel between the Hampshire County branches as necessary.

Responsibilities include but not limited to: Consistently providing superior professional customer service, performing a wide variety of banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and processing night deposit bags.
