Our Reopening Plan

Florence Bank will continue to service customers through our drive-ups, our ATMs and by appointment in our lobbies for loan closings and safe deposit box access at least through the end of June.  Our online banking and mobile banking applications also continue to be available 24/7 to meet customer banking needs.

At Florence Bank, we plan to follow the State’s lead by balancing the health risks with the economic benefits of reopening.  Governor Baker’s four phased approach to opening the State of Massachusetts uses a data-driven approach to reopen the economy that takes into consideration both the public health risk and the economic benefit of the Commonwealth.

The first two phases of the Governor’s plan will take a minimum of six weeks to implement.  These phases could be longer if the spread of the virus escalates as businesses reopen.  In the meantime, Florence Bank will be preparing a safe environment to service our customers when our reopening takes place that includes:

  • Branch employees wearing face coverings
  • Installing sneeze/cough guards
  • Practicing social distancing
  • Proper hand hygiene
  • Enhanced cleaning of high touch surfaces

Since the start of this pandemic, we have taken the safety of our employees and customers very seriously.  Our goal has been to keep everyone as healthy as possible while meeting our customers' banking needs.

We will monitor the Governor’s progress in opening the State safely and adjust as new information and data becomes available.
